What You Need to Know:
Fatigue is extremely prevalent in our country. Harvard reports that up to 2.5 million Americans suffer with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome at any given time. In many people CFS begins suddenly following a virus, infection, or a physical or emotional trauma. In other cases, it develops gradually due to poor lifestyle. Unfortunately, only a small percentage of people recover full health.
What I know from talking to all of my patients is that about 8 out of 10 adults are suffering with exhaustion, burnout or fatigue. The good news is, you don’t have to!
Why it Matters:
Recently I was working with a patient that was struggling extreme fatigue and burnout that was completely interrupting her life.
She was so fried she couldn’t get to sleep at night, getting up and moving in the morning was a challenge, she was exhausted, her mental clarity was more like a foggy bog, and her ability to parent how she wanted was affected.
HER BODYS BATTERY WAS DRAINED, and we had to test to find out why! After Advanced Testing and a Targeted Plan, She is now back to having energy reserves and living a full and energetic life.
Here are 3 actions you can take right now that can help to fight fatigue:
- Take 5 Deep Breathes – in for 5, hold for 5, out for 5, hold for 5. Do this 5 times.
- List 3 things you are grateful for.
- Practice Grounding by sitting in nature for 10 minutes (bonus if you take your shoes off and get your feet in the grass)
