Supporting Disc Health
The main benefit of spinal decompression therapy is assisting in maintaining the health of damaged discs. It rehydrates discs that have been damaged and are subsequently dehydrated, which further complicates the problem.
How It Works
We’ll fully explain how spinal decompression therapy works before starting. You’ll lay on a large, computerized table. You’re strapped into it so you’ll feel secure. Then, the table creates angles to target the specific discs you’re having problems with. We’ll start slowly with your first treatment to make sure you feel comfortable. On your next visits, we’ll incrementally increase the pull for therapeutic effect.
Duration of Therapy
The number of treatments necessary will vary based on your condition. On average, our patients have 10-14 treatments. You may experience muscle soreness afterwards, which can be relieved by icing the area or with light stretching.
