Meniscal, MCL & ACL Tears
Condition Overview
Meniscal tears occur when C-shaped cartilage between the shinbone and thighbone tears due to a forceful twist or rotation of the knee, resulting in a popping sensation, pain, swelling, stiffness, and a feeling of the knee locking or catching.
MCL tears, caused by direct blows to the outside of the knee, lead to localized pain, tenderness on the inner knee, swelling, and instability.
ACL tears, often resulting from sudden stops or awkward landings, present with a loud pop, severe pain, rapid swelling, and a sensation of the knee giving out.

Our Treatments
At Advanced Health & Wellness Center, we specialize in non-surgical, integrative treatments that promote your body’s natural ability to heal from ligament injuries like ACL, MCL, and meniscus tears. Whether you’re recovering from a sports injury, a fall, or wear-and-tear over time, our team creates a personalized plan to restore function, reduce pain, and help you return to the activities you love.
Chiropractic Care and Physical Rehabilitation
Gentle chiropractic adjustments can help restore proper alignment and function to the joints, while a customized physical rehabilitation program will focus on strengthening the muscles around the knee, improving flexibility, and restoring your full range of motion.
Regenerative Medicine
We offer advanced regenerative medicine therapies that can accelerate healing and tissue repair. Depending on your condition, treatments like Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, which uses your own blood platelets to stimulate healing, or hyaluronic acid injections to lubricate the joint, may be recommended.
Supportive Therapies
To further support your recovery, we may incorporate other innovative therapies such as PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy to reduce pain and inflammation, and other rehabilitative modalities designed to enhance your healing process.
